Supporting Mental Well-Being through Child Care Settings

Addressing the mental health needs of child care providers and children in care is vital in the face of the pandemic, a population-level traumatic event. CTIPP is offering a "plug and play" framework to ease the process of developing a continuum of training, reflective coaching, and consultation to build the capacity for supporting early relational health throughout early childhood care and education systems. Funds from the American Rescue Plan can be used to implement this continuum in your state. This webinar will share the framework, describe examples of its effectiveness, and help you get started. You are encouraged to invite a team of decision makers and stakeholders to join you for this webinar.

This presentation will share a framework for equipping all adults in the child care ecosystem with information and capacity to recognize and respond to trauma, and build early relational health. It does not promote any one model and, in fact, we are offering a menu of options for vendor partners as another way to make it easy for your state to implement the framework and/or enhance your state's infant and early childhood mental health consultation approach.
